DCD796D2 DeWALT Combi Drill supplied with 2 x 18v x 2Ah Lithium Batteries and 18v Charger is built round a 2 speed brushless motor that can deliver up to over 55% more run time than the previous brushes machines assisted by 2Ah lithium batteries with a very useful fuel gauge that increase capacity by around 30%. DCD796D2 DeWALT Combi Drill offers the tradesman extended flexibility at just 190mm overall in length and weighting just 1.7kgs with the battery fitted allowing this 18v Combi Drill to fit into tight areas. The high speed transmission with two easy change speed settings delivers faster application speeds and the ergonomic comfort grip handles give total tool control and balance.

These 18v DeWALT Power Tools use a 3 mode LED worklight superb for tackling jobs in low light or dark areas around the site, the LED is x20 brighter than previously built into DeWALT machines and features a LED spotlight mode allowing a 20 minute shutoff function allowing work to be carried out safely in dark or confined areas on site

Registration must be within 28 days of purchase in order that you can take advantage of this FOC warranty extension offered by DeWALT Power Tools

How does it work:-


  1. Log into MyDeWALT at http://MyDeWALT.DeWALT.co.uk/3/ and create an account if you do not already have one
  2. Register the machine by entering the product model number and select an option from the drop-down listing. Unfortunately for kits each individual item must be registered separately 

  3. Enter the date code (engraved inside the battery holder or on the underside of the machine) followed by the serial number shown on the machine rating label. Finally enter your SKU reference, purchase location plus the date of purchase and click confirm 

  4. A summery page will appear showing that the machine has been successfully registered through the DeWALT Warranty Website. The confirmed availability of the extended warranty against the specific machine will be indicated in green allowing you to download the Warranty Certificate

  5. In the event of a machine failure during the extended warranty period contact DeWALT directly for guidance and assistance, you will be required to supply details from your Warranty Registration Certificate which you can recover through your original DeWALT account
