The handy battery fuel gauge is indicated in 3 stages simply by pushing a button 3 lights on more than 50% of full battery capacity, 2 lights on 20% to 50% of battery capacity left and 1 light on less than 20% of fuel life left. As with a number of D type Makita Power Tools these drills can be powered through 3Ah, 4Ah or 6Ah Makita lithium batteries

Makita customers can extend this initial Industrial Power Tools UK warranty period out to 36 months by registering machines, batteries or chargers directly with Makita at makitauk.com/3-year-warranty within 30 days of purchase. Should any Makita machine fail during the extended free of charge warranty period, the returns process could not be simpler with faulty tools returned directly to Makita for inspection, repair or replacement as appropriate

Please note that you will be asked for certain information including date of purchase and original invoice number before the warranty claim can be processed

Makita at an agreed time and date will uplift the machine from any business or residential address, (it does not need to be the original invoice address shown on your paperwork) Makita WILL NOT COLLECT from building sites
